Olight S30r diffuser available. What will work.

I'm thinking about getting the S30R II. But there is no diffuser available from Olight. I just talked to them.

So has anyone come up with something that will work on this. I want it for camping. I plan on hanging it in my tent and maybe lighting up a picnic table.

There was a guy on another forum asking the same thing and was going to try a Nitecore NDF25 diffuser but has not reported back with results.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Tie a white plastic shopping bag over the light head. Bing! Free. :)

If one is not enough, use two. Double bag it! :)

Got calipers? Head diameter? If not, trace the head size on paper and use a ruler.

Post measurements and you'll get results.

The S30R is 25mm from the research I have done. I do not own one yet. And I may not if I can't come up with a diffuser.

I have a nitecore white diffuser that fits on several of my lights, so I only have one. The exact tolerances vary slightly, but a rubber diffuser boot stretches a bit, so you're usually good to go with 25mm outside head diameter and a "25mm diffuser boot."

Mine is the 40mm one. It rocks.

Some of my lights I use a water bottle cap. Clear or opaque.
There all sorts of diffusers if you look around.
Old camera film tubes, pill bottles etc.
Just throwing more cheap options out there.
