OMG Lumen DEFT - one of the early throwers

Rooting around the garage going through the stuff I haven't unboxed for many years now and I came across a box with my DEFT in it.

I dusted the box off and had a look.

Sadly a friend I lent it too decided to drop it onto solid concrete and the beautiful carbon lens hood took a beating.

unbelievably, I turned it on and it lit up.
Charged a fresh set of Eneloops and going to take it out to remind myself just how far ahead of the game this unit was in its day.

Gonna take me back for sure.
