Just got in my Desert Tan Surefire G2.
That makes 3 for me, including the black and the olive green.

All I need now is the yellow one.

A coworker here at my office actually bought his black G2 several months before I bought my first one. He told me today that there is "probably a help group" for people like me who have to have every color option of a particular light. He was smart enough to stick with just his black one.

Capnal, I own every color of G2 except yours...mine is yellow. I did get an SC-1 & a P61 to cover my bases. I also tried Roy's mod of inserting a Kroll in place of the regular switch. Love it!

well.. i would love to get all these..
but unfortunately, the price would be a killer for me in Malaysia..
1 G2 would cost RM 246 about USD 64..
not go mention that the CR123s cost a bomb...
so till i am financially stabilised, i'll just play with my lonely G2..

Why not give rechargeables a try? That way the fun never needs to end. Even though I can get batteries, I hate spending $$ on cells, I'd rather spend it on lights.

well.. I do plan to use rechargeables..
but IIRC a R123 is 4.2v when fully charged...
so 2xR123=8.4v would definitely blow the G2's 6v bulbs..
and using a single R123 would means the G2 would be underpowered.. unless i buy a pila 3.7v bulb and use a 17670 or 18500.. that'd be perfect.. i think.. (still a noob in these)

btw, which one would fit best? I only have 18650s and they don't fit..

Nice collection copnal. The only G2 I have is the Official CPF Limited Edition. Does SF make a G2Z in desert tan? I'd buy one, if so.

Yeah, I really really like the Desert Tan.
I will probably have the yellow version in a couple of weeks or so. I don't know. I just feel sorta incomplete without having all the colors!

As far as the G2Z goes, I never really cared for them. I don't really like the combat grip ring in the middle, nor do I like the more than X2 price over a regular G2. Then again, I don't ever practice using my Surefire while shooting my pistols, so I guess I never really needed it.
