Top Secret! So secret even I don't know where I am
I am after online dealers with a good range of electronic components (surface mount components primarily), who also supply to individuals (not only to businesses), and preferably those who ship internationally as well.
I've already tried web searches, but I've had little luck so far.
So, can anyone recommend suitable online dealers please?

RussH, thanks for the extra info'!
I've looked at both sites, and they seem to be reasonable sources of components also.
I've requested a catalog from Allied (as well as from Digikey and Mouser), but, unfortunately, it appears that Newark sends catalogs only to businesses and not to individuals.
Sure, I can use on-line catalogs, which usually have an updated product range, but I still prefer to have printed copies of catalogs for reference.
Thanks again.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change.
The mouser catalog is pretty thick also, you almost need a DSL internet connection to look at online catalogs as many have gone to PDF files that cover a whole set of things.

Both Allied and Digikey catalogs were received within 1 and 1/2 weeks after request.

I have yet to receive the Mouser catalog. And it has been three weeks since my request.

Can anyone who has a Mouser catalog give me an idea of how it took to receive the catalog after request please?

Thanks!

I requested a Mouser catalog about 2 weeks ago, and haven't received it yet. Ordered some parts, however, and next thing I knew, they arrived. It's nice how they label the components with the information you enter during the order, and charge only the actual shipping charges, with no handling charges.
I don't know just how useful the paper catalog would be for me, because I'd want to check online for current price and availability before ordering anyway.

Wingerr, thanks for your comments!

I have just discovered that the (latest edition) of the Mouser catalog is due in about three weeks. So we can expect to receive it late February.

Yes, I would also check online price and availability before ordering. However, I like to have the printed catalog as a guide to component range.

Mouser February 2005 Catalog!??

I have yet to receive a copy of Mouser's catalog, which I requested about two months ago!? I've emailed Mouser, but I have yet to receive a reply.

So, has anyone (particularly those in Australia and New Zealand) received a copy of the February 2005 edition of Mouser's catalog? If so, when did you receive it?

Thanks.

Re: Mouser February 2005 Catalog!??

Mouser sends their catalogs out about four times a year, so that might be why some haven't gotten them yet.

DigiKey, Newark, and Allied carry more but for most parts Mouser's slightly cheaper and MUCH faster.

Re: Mouser February 2005 Catalog!??

Mine came some time ago, so it is out. They also have the CD version of the catalog, which you might request if you have a slow connection and want to look through their stuff quickly. The CD came before the paper one, so they're probably more up to speed on requests for CD versions of their catalog, being less expensive for them to send out.

My favorite is DigiKey. Newark is probably second on my list. I also use Mouser occasionally. All Electronics is an interesting source of oddball surplus stuff. Ask them for a printed catalog. There's also Jameco electronics.
