Only ten surefire lights.

Candle Power Forums

Help Support Candle Power:

From the ones I own.

1. M6 - a big beefy lumen cannon
2. U2 (not so hot now, but when it was released, it was an incredible light, multiple levels, long runtime - just amazing)
3. Minimus Vision - a simple headlamp, done Surefires way, great tint, simple UI, nice runtimes.
4. M4 - just feels really nice to hold and use, and reaches out a loooooooong way.
5. 6P - the original, started the whole 123 powered flashlight thing
6. L4 - a classic wall of light, and one of CPFs very popular EDC lights
7. A2 - floody LEDs and throwy Incan, with a stupid simple UI
And I'm out of lights, I have other SFs, but nothing I consider "top ten"

Well, my top SF lights may differ from what your top lights would be, but in no order:

T1A
Minimus Vision
E1B
EB1T
A2

Those are my must-haves. And frankly, the A2 is more about nostalgia than actual performance in today's world. When i first bought one it was awesome, now its old tech. I like the P60 hosts like C2 and 6P, but could live without them. Same with the LX2 and E2DL. I have an E1L on the way, and expect to like it a lot, but it's not that different from an E1B or EB1T.

I also could not do without my E1B or EB1T, I use them for different things and both are "just right". I'm about to order an EB2 which should round out my "user" lights nicely.

For collecting purposes, keep your 10 favorites. It's all subjective because no one can tell anyone else what they like more.

In no particular order, all have their quality:

E1L Outdoorsman
E2L Outdoorsman
E2L AA Outdoorsman
E2DL Defender
P2X Fury(with 18650 body)
M6LT Guardian(with 2x18650 adapter)
Bored 6P with Malkoff M61N
Bored 9P with extender and Malkoff M91W
G2 with Malkoff M61NLLLL
G3 with 2AA sleeve and Malkoff M31NLL
