i was messing with my 2aaCostco luxeon light and i hooked it up to 2 cr123 cells
and the dome fell off can it be reattached ? or is the whole thing junk ?

You mean the dome of the LED? Did the 123s "blow it off"? Probably going to have to replace the star.

no it didnt blow it off . it got reall hot and i think the adhesive melted .... it still works but the dome is gone .... hmmm

Change the Star as it would shurely fail
