Just got a little Casio battery powered color TV for use when power fails. Directions say use 4 x aa alkaline bats only. I would rather make use of nimh aa's as I do in most of my small electronics. I tried them and they worked fine. Anybody see any longterm problems? Alkalines should last about 4 hrs. Haven't used up a set of rechargables yet.

I've been using the Eveready/Sanyo 1800s and the newer 2300s over an 8 month period with no problems at all.

The small Casio (500-2.5" screen) that I have uses about 650mA, so the Hi-capacity NimH is a real lifesaver ..-and a money saver because like Digicams, it can eat alkaline batteries like jellybeans. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks vcal. Your response is appreciated. I'm glad seeing another Casio user having success with these batteries. I agree, there is no going back to alkalines if you got a digicam that can use aa's.
