I was wondering if it is necessary to go through the warm-up procedure if the 150 mw module has already been in a +80°F for sometime.Just how critical is this procedure?
Also after my warranty period is up,I would like to replace the power adj. screw on the end cap with a longer one.The need to have a screwdriver with you all the time is sort of awkward just to power-up,and then warm-up the unit. Can this "power" screw be easily removed by holding the gizmo inside the end cap so the screw can be replaced?
I realize this probably a saftey feature but extreme care is no problem for me and the module is stored locked-up anyhow.
I guess Jack would the the one to have the answers.
Thanks,Jerry
