Outlook 2010, iPhone 5 issue with email to myself

This is driving me crazy!! When I email myself a photo from my iPhone 5 to my Gmail account, it does this on my computer when I view my inbox in Outlook 2010:



It's hard to open and I definitely can't delete it in Outlook 2010. I have to delete it from my mailbox on the iPhone. I'm using Windows 7. Any ideas?

Maybe try to remove the gmail account and add it back. Also make sure all your updates are in order.

I routinely have problems with emails sent from phones with pictures. As far as I can tell, somehow the pictures become embedded into the email instead of as attachments to it.

Consider using the web browser interface for gmail and see if that helps.

You can imagine that non of these phone / email companies like google, apple, MS and BB really want you to use the other firm's products, so they build in some challenges like this.
