This is what I do know about the drop in.
Cree xp-g, Single Mode 1a
Host is a Solar Force L2P
Battery is AW 18650 2600mah
Voltage on the battery is 4.03 right now
Ok so when I turn on the light it has a high pitch scream, now if I let the light warm up 2-3min or so it will stop and light gets brighter, if I turn it off and right back on no scream but if I let it cool 20+ sec it screams again tell it warms up. So got the fluke out and its only pulling .572 when it first lit then climbs to 655+-within about 15sec then it will sit there tell it stops screaming, then it jumps to 1.05 and climbs slowly as it gets warm. Light nevers gets hot at all, barely gets the head warm at all. Another thing is when its screams it will like studder and you can see the light flicker just a bit the scream tell it gets warm. So im sure im going to get a nailbender but what is up with this one? Driver, loose solder or is this somthing normal when they whine? Im thinking im going to open it up and see if somthing isnt loose inside.
