So the battery pack for my Asus netbook wouldn't charge for some reason. I know it has less than 20 cycles because I rarely use the netbook. So i went on ebay and got a used replacement for about $5. Hearing about how laptop cells are 18650 and see how the asus netbook battery was round I tore it apart and found 6 Panasonic ncr18650 in them and they all work perfectly. I think the little board inside the battery went bad and wouldn't charge the cells.
The cells are gray and have heat shrink on them with made in japan. Found out the spec on the battery
Genuine Panasonic Cell Made in Japan
Capacity: 2900mAH (2750 Minimum)
Max charge current: 0.7C 2A
Recommended discharge current: 1C 2.9A
Discharge Termination Voltage: 2.5V
Internal resistance: <= 60m ohm
Approx.Weight: 45 (g)
