My new EDC lights. I like them very much!

The AAA model (hi-power) is running and running and running...

Both Peak´s are comparable (beam and throw) to the Inova-X5!

Beautiful pictures, thanks Xeper from a fellow Peakaholic. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Very nice pics indeed... The stainless steel version sure looks sweet!! Thanks! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I just got the 3 LED hi output one and I really like the lack of side spill. It does have a nice spread, but you don't get that bright "ring" at about 85 degrees off center you often see with exposed LED's. I am amazed at the output as well. As xeper said it is very comparable to the inova X5.

Darn it. I knew I shouldn't have clicked on that link./ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ohgeez.gif
I already have a Peak 5 LED aa in black HA but that stainless one in your photo looks REALLY nice.
Nice photos. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/kewlpics.gif

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/kewlpics.gif It's always nice to see "live" shots of lights, instead what it shown on the vendor's website/catalog. I'd been unsure about the tail design (don't like it), but after seeing those pics I may have to check one out at some point.

The stainless does indeed look very nice. But... I really can't justify paying that much for a 5mm based light :/ I want one though, oh yes, I want one.

Great picks! They don't make it easier for me to NOT buy some peak lights...

Great pics! The SS ones are awesome looking. I imagine they're a little slick to hold, though. Anyone know why they aren't putting any knurling on those? I'm eagerly awaiting a 3-LED Arc-type light. Can't wait to see if it looks like the 3-LED head on the production lights or if they somehow cram 3 LED's into an Arc-style head. Don't know if that's even possible, but if it ever gets here I'll share some pics!

Putting knurling on stainless steel is like putting a coat on a badger. It's relly painfull and you won't like the results.

I was told that the stainless versions are made from tubing and would not take a decent knurling without deforming the tube. Notice the difference in the end "cap".

The heads on the discounted, lug-bodied, 3 LED lights had both heads (so I'm told by Peak). I have early proto's with the Arc-type 3 LED heads. The LED's aren't recessed as much as the ones shown in this thread . Sharp looking light IMO!

Damnit... Looking at these pics are making my mind think bad thoughts, expensive thoughts... Does anyone have any beamshot comparisons between these and the CMG Ultra (the only 5mm light I've got to compare to)?

I love Peaks too, the two bigger ones are the older dual N cells. Much dimmer leds, but they are fun to play with.
I'll try to get some beamshots vs CMG Ultra later on.

Peak's three led's on the left and the CMG Ultra is on the right. The distance to the wall is approximately one foot.

The high power 3 led snow is really quite a nice head. Here's a brass one on a Jets22 N body. Nice combination.
