Peak UV Recommendation

I'm in the market for a good UV flashlight. I've gotten a couple of inexpensive UV lights, and while they work ok, I'm looking for something that's closer to true UV wavelength. The purple wash from the ones I have bugs me.

I understand that Peak offers UV LEDs on many of their lights and was curious as to what the wavelength is on those LEDs. Also looking for a recommendation as to which light to get. I'd prefer something that runs on AAs or AAAs (single or multiple), but expect that performance (output and runtime) would be better with a CR123.

I'm not sure of the exact wavelength but I have the Matterhorn AAA 3 LED and the McKinley CR123 7 LED ( among others ;) but they are the best IMO. I went with the ultra power. This means I might not get as much runtime but they put out bigtime. I mostly use them to look for fluorescent glass and it lights the stuff up even in daylight.

You can send us the UV LED's you like to have in the unit and we can build it for you also you could go with a 3 LED AAA at standard level for better run time. Please Contact [email protected] for futher help
