OK some pertinent information. I have the Pelican M6 LED. Dumb me I did not realize that it was the LED. I had purchased several and given them away in years past to soldiers. I obviously kept the LED model.
The M6 is a rather large instrument, and doesn't put out the light that I would expect now from a 2 123 light. I think the output is supposed to be 180 -200 lumens. Not much considering what keychain lights do.
I have the Xenon drop in unit, but would like to get a higher output LED if one is not expensive.
Is there a LED bulb that I can use to replace the one in the light that will put the output 300-400 lumens? I am looking for long range.
