i recall seeing this in one of those shop at home magazines, and was always tempted to get one.

i'm wondering if anyone has one and might be able to comment on quality (although i'd suppose that the mere fact that it was even in one of those magazines suggest that the quality is lacking, not to mention the lowerthanyou'dthink price)

I've got one. The quality is pretty good, but the blue paint covering most of the body is flaking off. It's not a bad tool for light duty tasks. Mine is now sitting unused having opted for the more robust Leatherman Wave.

What a great forum, I was led here by looking at my stats program and seeing a bunch of traffic coming in to Convenient Gadgets from this thread.

The tool pen has been one of our best sellers since we opened shop. The only complaint I've ever received for the tool pen is that it doesn't come with pen refills. Unfortunately I don't know where to locate refills for the pen. One way of refilling the ink is to get creative with a bic pen or something similar and cutting it to fit inside the tool pen.

Yeahh...I hear you Rothrandir, lighting is a category I would love to dive into deeper. Your 100% right, the lights need to be updated in a serious way! "I'll work on it".

I've always loved just about anything to do with lighting. wether it be a red laser in a dark room or an led frisbee flying through the dark, or a dead concert or a grand old Phish concert, or a dome light reflecting off a cd in the car..

The worst thing about illuminated frisbees in the dark is that your eyes focus in on the brightly lit flying disc when your surrounding field of vision is diminished due to the sun being down.. The chances of colliding into a tree are abnormally high.

Really though Rothrandir, we only carry *1* flashlight. Most of the lights within the category are just a component of a multi functioning unit.
