I moved from Taiwan to the States long, long ago.

My understanding is that there are actually many flasholics in Taiwan and the Pacific rim nations/islands. According PK, he gets approx. 40% hits on his PK-e.com from Asian Countries. Good luck in setting up a get together.

I recently read some knife (Knife Life?) magazines from Taiwan, and they just had a big knife gethering. Perhaps, you might start there as well...
