I've had this headlamp for a few years, I wanted to give it a new life.
i used a heat sink like this one
a closeup of the LS mounted on the heatsink, in the case.
a switch had to be added , the original twist on/off had to go...more room for heatsink!
i put mine on the battery pack, on the bottom left corner.
it's set up for 3AA, DD
with the lens/head on.
