Hi all,

Not quite sure if it qualifies for 'Led Flashlighs' but I remember reading here something
about a disc of some sort, or material, that you could put in the back of your 6p and
it will act as a dimmer.
- conductivity increases with pressure.

any thoughts on what it was?

Are you refering to Peak's QTC (Quantum Tunneling Composite) material in their lights? It's described as a special material that releases more energy the more it's compressed.

Yes! thank you very much.
any idea on where to purchase small amounts?

Sorry, Peak is the only manufacturer that I know who utilizes that technology in the lights they sell. Perhaps others may chime in as to where you can get the material? You can search "Quantum Tunneling Composite" and learn how the material functions but I can't find a consumer source for it.

I did, I should have mentioned it.
peak maybe the only manufacturer but you can buy the material online.
just in bulk and I just need a few pieces for testing purposes.
