I thought two of these were the same length as 3x123's. They aren't. There longer and don't fit in my L6. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

What's up with that? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I thought people were using these in their 3 cell Surefires? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/help.gif

I've got 2 of them in my Z3 and they're working fine. I didn't notice that they were different sizes and I can check that when I get home.

Yes, I have the standard lock-out tailcap on it. I don't have a clickie tailcap to test with.

That's a heck of a size difference!

However, Pila make their own 3x123A/2x150S flashlights so it just may be down to the tailcap spring types to allow for the differing lengths????

I too hope for a definitive answer here as i want to buy the 150S's for my C3....

Ok, I checked the size of the Pila batteries and they're definitely longer than the 123 cells, but they're working fine in my Z3.
