Hey,
I fried a Terralux 2-3 cell Maglite upgrade - accidentally powered on with no load - the component is a transistor I think but I need to know exactly what the specs would be to order a replacement from Digikey - the numbers are 618 but there are many 618 transistors of varying specs...
This is the LED on the Terralux 2-3 cell Maglite upgrade - I can't find a matching pic anywhere - I think it's a Luxeon 140 lumen?:
