Hello, i'n new to this forums, glade i found it!
I have read the terms of use, and the recommendations, i used search function but i just got to many questions to get a real sense of what is best for me, i'm sorry i will have to bother you a bit guys
So ill use the list one of the members made to make it more simple.
) What Region/Country/State will the light be purchased in?
I will be ordering my flashlight/charger/battery combo via Ebay, I'm from EU.
1) Price Range: Around 80-100$ for flashlight and around 50$ more for (good quality batteries-charger)
2) Format:
LED Flashlight
3) Length:
Doesen't really matter
4) Width:
Doesen't really matter
5) What batteries do you want to use?
18650 Panasonic based i heard they rox.
6) How much light do you want?
The more the better.
7) Throw vs Flood:
Lets say 60% throw - 40% spill, if that makes any sense :)
8) Runtime
Doesen't matter much, but at least 1 hour at max.
9) Durability:
Yes it is important to me, i want good quallity build flashlight which will last long.
8) Switch Type:
Sliding or clickie
Doesent really matter.
9) Switch Location:
All of these are acceptable:
I want a push or sliding switch on the body near the head.
I want a push switch on the back end of the body.
I want a rotating head switch.
I want a rotating end-cap switch.
Doesent really matter.
10) Operational Modes: Check all that apply.
on/off is fine
multiple level is fine
11) Is it important whether the body is metal or plastic/composite?
Metal. For sure.
12) Special Needs: Is there anything else you want or need that hasn't been mentioned
Corrosion resistant or hard-anodized finish is desirable.
Bonus,
It would be great if you guys give me some info on what batteries are best from Panasonic based models, and is there really difference from one to another? for example soem guys at ebay sells for example Xtar vs Orbtronic vs Eagletac?
Also i would like to know, is the lumens specs the most important part of LED generally power/brightness? what about cd ratings? for example MX3 older model is 700 Lumens, but it has stronger throw then M22Warrior, which are btw my most desirable picks for now, and out of the two which buy will be better? pros/cons? thanks guys and sorry for many questions :)
