Help Support Candle Power:

Rob, could you please elaborate as to which Jet-III M you would purchase (i.e. R2 or A5 and OD or Gray finish)?

Thank you...

-Al

Hello Al,

I would purchase one with the R2 emitter. So far all my R2 lights from JETBeam have had a fantastic tint. Brilliant white and creamy....leaning just slightly to the warm side. I love it. The colour of the finish is not important to me. I like both the OD and Gray. In the JETBeam family picture above in post #11, the RRT-2 is OD, while the rest of them are Gray. The R2 that is available at lightjunction right now is the OD finish.

If you go to my overview of the RRT-0, you can see outdoor beam shots of what the R2 looks like on the JETBeam lights.

Here are some of the shots....

You are welcome...

Best regards,

Hello all. I feel the need to share what this fine gentleman Al has done for me. Little did I know that when he asked me....

That he was planning on gifting me with one. I thought he was asking for advice on which one to get. That is right, this kind person has gifted me with a brand new JETBeam JET-lll M OD....just because I took the time to help him out. I am touched and honored to have had the opportunity and pleasure to meet someone with a good heart like this. What a wonderful place CPF is to be able to share and learn....to make good friends and just have a good time. lovecpf Al....Thank you so very much for the beautiful light. May all safety and blessings from above fall on you my friend.

Now I need to post a new JETBeam family picture...:grin2:

Grunscga,

Thank you for the information.
Note that I contacted BOG with a request to additionally purchase the ST BVC three mode reverse clicky since I had decided to just keep the current two mode unit, and I then was informed that the ST had been discontinued and none are in stock.

I was also told this. Rick at TacticalLED's had to cancel my ST order when he ran out of stock and was told by his distributor (JB?) that they are now discontinued. I went to Ethan at LightJunction and he's got one for me. Seems like new sales/replacements are going to be difficult for this light pretty soon.

The Jet-III-Pro-BVC works great with an XP-G emitter. Much more off-center spill, yet still a hot spot. Less green. (Binned R4 C1)
