We had another short power outage at work yesterday. Our lighting situation would be familiar to many of you: a few security lights went on, but some places were dark, and some had no light at all. The only (company-owned) flashlights were cheap, plastic, buried in the back of some filing cabinets, dead and leaking battery acid.
I think we need some of those plug-in lights that turn on automatically when the power goes out. I've started reading reviews, but most of them include at least one photo of a singed blob of melted plastic. I do not want to burn down my place of employment, I believe they would frown on that.
Can anyone recommend a light that stays plugged in & turns on automatically during a power outage, but is decent and reliable?
