Looks like the ballast for the elusive PF45 received an upgrade to dual output.
The Abyss disappeared from the website for a while, now I know why. A few questions for Ken:
-In the previous version of the Abyss its primary use was in a submerged environment, therefore limiting its use outside of water. Can this new model be used in a dry environment? Due to these issues I kinda doubt it, which brings me to my next question...
-Are there plans to utilize this ballast in the X1 or PF/PH40? If so, my plans to buy the Xenide 35/50 will change very quickly.:naughty:
-On the Abyss product description I noticed the charge time shrank from 4 hours to 2.5 hours. Did the batteries or charger receive an upgrade?
