So my 2 year old apex is displaying heavy cracking where the screws in the front assembly are attaching to the orange front piece.

Ptec took care of me with superior customer service with my old vortec so I was hoping they are still supporting their customers...

Their online form wasn't going through so I googled and came up with a number for their location - 609 324 1960

Does anybody know if this is correct? I will try tomorrow during business hours but I know I had called them before (I think they had a number on their website) and spoken with customer service and one of their line engineers regarding a question I had when I bought my apex.

I have been reading about water penetration because of the two upper screws being overly long and going through the gasket, so that might be related to my problem.

Aside from the one Vinnie posted, 866-509-5021 is another one I have.

I used the web contact form and got my PT attitude plastic case replaced for free when it broke out of the bottom.

Wow thanks for all the quick responses.

I was busy all day today, just got home, and figured I'd give the form on the website another shot. It submitted properly this time (maybe my firefox was acting up or something? ) so I'll expect an answer soon. :twothumbs

I was able to call them using one of the numbers posted, got a new headlamp soon after I sent it in.

Anybody know if the newer Apexs are any different? Is there a difference in the maxbright LED? All I noticed off the bat is that the 'gasket' arround the battery pack is recessed and to open the pack after its been keyed open requires more force...

hopefully they shortened those screws up top that were too long and cracking the plastic...
