Princeton Tec Eos Coming On by Itself

Hey everyone,

Well the title is pretty self explanatory. I bought a new Princeton Tec Eos (the 4 mode version w/ 25 lumens), and I really like it. However, when I turn it off, after about 5 minutes the thing turns on by itself with very low output but then goes to maximum power. Happens every time I turn it off. Is this a common problem? I guess I have to take it back. I hate to drive all the way though (its about 45 minutes away where I got it). Thanks for your help.

Princeton Tec has great customer service. I'd give them a call.

I hate it when lights do that.

Sounds like the switch is faulty. I had a similar thing happen with an Eos after about six months and took it back to REI for a replacement
