Far side of crazy.
Yep, it looks like Pt is jumping on the single CR123 headlamp bandwagon with their new military style Re-Mix and this one starts off in low mode similar to the Eos tactical. As long as the case is sturdy and waterproof/resistant enough, this one may be nice because it runs off of the same batteries as my my single cell pocket throwers that run off of CR123's. Listed as 4 hours of regulation on high mode which I am assuming is their stated 70 Lumen output. Basically, it's a regulated Black Diamond Spot albeit smaller and running off of a better cell IMHO.

Time will tell to see if they are upgrading the EOS Tactical to 70 Lumens as well and I can't see why they wouldn't. The benefits of the original Apex without all of the weight, now I just have to pick up that new small single cell Jetbeam for a handhelp thrower and maybe grab this Remix as a change from the old standby EOS Tactical.

Anyone have one yet I am thinking of picking one up from ****s so is it really regulated and is their a way to tell how I can get tell the difference in this new model vs. the old from the package? I'm not sure if ****'s even sells the Pro probably just the Remix AAA.

Wow, looks interesting, in some way it's a SF Saint Minimus killer - at least for me (similar appearance, runs off one CR123A, much cheaper, weights less, two different beam patterns and no "infinite" levels which is something I don't need). I will wait for a review but it looks like I will be ordering this one. I am searching for a shop which has them in stock (and preferably offers international shipping)...

:popcorn:Well, I have two EOS's opened up for surgery so do I mod these first or just spend the cash on a remix pro??? Keeping my eyes peeled for a review and if I grab one first, I'll let you know.

I have been looking for a CR123 based torch with red and white modes so this seemed perfect. But I can't find anywhere in the UK that stocks it. Even in the US it doesn't seem to exist in many online stores. Has anyone managed to buy one of these?
