I purchased a Malkoff Wildcat Head with a MD3 Body and Switch. I charged two new AW 18500 Li-ion (protected) batteries using a PILA-IBC Charger. Both batteries showed a full-charge on the PILA. One battery shows a 4.21 DC V reading (as expected) on my Micronta Digital Multi-meter. However, the other battery shows a reading that starts at about 50 DC mV and keeps increasing as long as I keep the leads attached (still in the mV range).
I assume that I have a defective AW 18500. Any idea what the issue is? It will be the first defective AW Li-ion battery that I've purchased out of an assortment of AW Li-ion batteries
