I received a (very) old C100 charger and an adaptor from a friend of mine. The only thing that was missing in order to transform my G2 into a 6R was a B65 rechargeable battery. So I bought a new B65. Then I charged the B65 for 12 consecutive hours, put it into my 6R and ... nothing happened. Absolutely no light. Then I checked the lamp assembly. It works fine with SF123 lithiums. I called Surefire customer service and they told me to send the old C100 charger in for replacement. I was told by a Surefire representative that the old C100 chargers couldn't charge the new B65's. Is that correct ? Will an new C100 charger be abele to charge a new B65 properly ? Well, I have sent the old C100 to Surefire and I'm waiting for a replacement.
What do you guys think ? Any opinion is appreciated.
Thanks,

Kaneda

I am not sure if I got the numbers right but could it be that the C100 is for the B90/B92? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

K-T, the B90/B92 are not the same size as the B65 if I remember correctly. My new B65 fits perfectly into the old C100 charger. I hope that the nice guy from Surefire customer service knew what he was talking about. He told me that I just had to replace the old-fashioned C100 by a new one. I hope this works. Surefire is a science for itself.
Greetings,

You are correct as the B90/B92 consists out of three sub-c cells while the B65 is made out of four 4/5A(hope I got that right) cells. Cannot comment on the C100 as I only have CN200's, C400, CN400 and one C800 charger. I guess they might have a reason to let you swap the charger. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
