I am thinking of getting a box of AA Alkaline batts off Ebay and looking at either the AA Procells or AA Panasonics.

Out of the two I have mentioned which would be your pick ?

BTW These are for my CMOY Amplifier
 
I can't comment on the Procell, but when I used to use Panasonic Alkaline Plus AA cells I had no issues with them at all.

Procell are made by Duracell.
 
I've never used the Panasonics but have had good results with the procells. :D IIRC the Procells have a wider temperature range in their specs than the Duracells.
 
I like the procells better than reg duracells now. Never had a procell leak ever all sizes but lately had a quite a few leaker Duracell AA's not a happy camper. How much are the ones your buying on @bay? batteryjunction has a cpl pretty good sales on Procells going on now take a look before pulling the trigger on ebay

On Ebay Australia I can get 48 Procells for AU $39.00 + $10 P&H or 24 Procells for AU$24.00 + $10 P&H thats postage and handling.

Or my other option is to use Eneloops or similar.
 
Never use procells, but I bought a box of 48 Panasonic AA's almost 4 years ago and they still run great (Expires in 2011)

At my previous job, we were supplied ProCells for use in our pagers. I never had a problem with any of them leaking.

For my own personal use, however, I would choose Eneloops over any kind of alkaline even if the alkalines were free. I have had too many leaks (non-ProCell alkalines) to continue using them.
