I've read this thread before. The main problem with the Air technology is that battery tubes in flashlight are air tight. It seems that Lithium sulphur batteries would be better suited for flashlights.

Now http://flashlightnews.org/index.shtml citing http://www.ecogeek.org/content/view/2791/80/ claim that Li-S quadruple the energy storage capacity. I think it is just the way they interpret the information and a bit of marketing to make a more striking title. Journalists! :rolleyes:.
 
My apologies. I read it too quickly and thought you were talking about Li-o2 not Li-S.

As for battery technology, I am happy right now. I will hopefully be overjoyed when the Li-S comes out. I am currently using AWs IMR cells and am amazed by the power it contains.
