PT Attitude problem.

I have a problem with my Attitude - then want to turn the light on, before normal light cams very low light looks like kind of "always on". Sometimes normal light comes only after several trials, but even then were is the brightness flickering. Tried to put LED module in Rage body - some thing. Have you any ideas what can cause such problem?

Have you dropped the light? If so at the right angle the battery's button end couldve smashed the modules contacts but this is hard due the the modules very flast contacts. The same thing happened to my SL propoly 4aa and it turned out the swith was bad...getting off topic.....what ever happened im sure Princeton Tec will replace your light if you contact them.

I would look for a battery contact problem.

My PT 40 won't work as is with NimH. I figure a bashed in button top on a battery could cause the same issue.

No, the light wasn't dropped. I've chacked the contact, but I'll check again.

Your Tec 40 wont work with NimH because the negative end doesnt stick down as far as an alkaline cell. Put a small peice of foil in the bottom to ensure contact.

My Attitude has done that on several occasions. I don't know what the problem is, but after a few twists and turns, it would go away. If yours doesn't go away, i'd suggest sending it in for replacement...although, you can find these things so cheap nowadays that you'll probably save yourself the time and postage if you just buy a new one.
