pure flood flashlight

I recently removed the reflector assembly from my quark X for kicks and realized I love the pure flood of the bare emitter. Are there any flashlights out there that use either the XP-G or XM-L emitters that are pure flood like that of a bare emitter? AA (14500 actually) is preferred but whatever there is would be fine considering that I can't seem to find such a flashlight. I know about diffusers but they don't even come close to the flood of bare emitters. Naturally I'd also like awesome run times (like zebralight).

Is there a flashlight that matches my description?
 
The Malkoff M91W it's a pure flood module it has a XM-L led, and is awsome. You'll need a host for it I've got mine in a Surefire 9P, but there are others out there it will work in. Mine is the warm tint but it also comes in the Cool, and if you e-mail gene he can make one in the Netural. But if you want a top of the line flood beam go with one of the Malkoff M91 series, it's money well spent.

Any flood to throw light will work as well. There are XM-L flood lights available, though the build quality is going to be so-so at best.
 
Mule lights are pretty awesome. Theres also the Preon O SS for keychain size

+1 for The Zebralight H501 are pretty solid and reasonably priced.
 
The only problem with the zebralight h501w is that it uses an old emitter. I'm actually waiting for the h502w but I want a pure flood flashlight now.

The Malkoff M91 doesn't seem to be a pure flood light.

The McGizmo Mule looks interesting. I'm definitely gonna look into it. Any other options?

EDIT: I just looked at the price of the mule. Ouch. As nice as it looks I don't want to spend that much money on it. I'm looking for a light to use and abuse. Any other options?

You could try the Malkoff M60F (Flood) dropin now it all about the flood as it's listing says. It may be what your looking for.

Thanks Glock, I couldn't remember how they label the Malkoffs. M60f would be perfect, the Zebralight Sc50fw would probably work too ;)
But it's no Malkoff

The best possible option. And yes you can abuse them, they're very tough. 100% pure, brilliant, artifact free flood. One of my favorites. I EDC an XM-L Mule alongside my XP-G Haiku.

Don't know much about a Zebralight, but I totally agree it's no Malkoff like you said.
 
thanks for the additional suggestions. I really want a newer LED though so the Malkoff M60F isn't an option. I don't know why manufacturers don't make more flood lights. The mule seems like the only option but it's waaaay more than I'm willing to spend on a flashlight.
