Putting RCR123 into the charger the wrong way

I accidentally put one of a pair of AW RCR123 into an Ultrafire fast charger the wrong way (+) to (-).

I left it like that for about 2 hours, noticed that one side is charging a lot and the other side was not charging (LED stayed green through the charging process).

That's when I checked and found out about my mistake. I don't think the RCR123 was damaged in any way?

I measured the voltage and both are at 4.1v.

Any thoughts welcome.

If they are protected, I dont think it should be a problem.

The AW RCR123 I got from the fenix-store are labeled "Protected".
