Be careful about bringing up the Q50...there are a few members that get pretty fiesty about posting about it before it comes out due to a long thread on it(even though it was the only one as far as I could tell)...believe me I know first hand

He he, I'm sure. That is why I posted a new thread. There is no doubt which of the two is the most popular..

Yeah ..if the specs on the Zebralight site turn out to be true, then most people would probably agree that the Q50 has more advantages than disadvantages compared to the v60c

Well I guess I must be a minority then 'cause I like the V60C better. First look at the energy capacity 3x18650 (2600ma) gives about 28 watt, 4xeneloop (2200ma) has about 10 watts. Right away the V60C will last twice as long. Now there is the question of chemistry if your careful you can used unprotected other wise use protected cells.

I looked at the Zebralight website. Since the Q50 has not been announced no pictures, But looking at pictures of their other products I really do not care for the design style. I like the looks of the V60C.

Where the Q50 will probably be a clear winner is weight, I expect the Q50 to be lighter.

Next is what battery chemistry you have lying around not being used. I have a bunch of 18650's not being used. They were from laptop packs I stripped a few years ago. The plan would be to use them for awhile. I have used them in other lights and when the highest mode drops out it is time to change / re-charge.

Get the Q50. Use the money saved to purchase an H502. Well that's my plan anyways.
