QIII reflector mod - polished down to remove sputt

Howdy.

I polished down my QIII reflector to remove the sputter.
Now it throws farther and has a brighter hotspot. I like it better.
Sputtering really kills the lux.

what polish+cloth did you use?
how much of a difference did it make?

the day: I use jeweler's polish. First I use a felt polisher attachment for the dremel tool. Then I use a conical grinder
attached to my dremel, I put 4 layers of paper towels and polish away.

gadgetlover - yes, the whole thing is aluminum. I didn't seal it.
