Quality LED Penlight Suggestions?

Howdy,
New here but am looking for some advice for a quality (buy once/cry once) LED penlight style flashlight that I can carry in a shirt breast pocket or in the side cargo pants pocket. A pocket clip would be a handy idea. I'm not afraid to spend some $ to have a quality product. Life is too short.

I'm the resident expert on penlights. I have owned most of them and EDC one at work even though I can choose any light I want.

I have been carrying a Pelican 1920 for almost 2 years solid now every day. One mode, forward clicky, pocket clip, throws well, good traction in the hand even when wet, robust construction, good brightness and good runtime. Price about $30. You can pay more but you can't get more.

I use Eneloops and it increases the runtime while saving me money on cells.

I have dropped it, dunked it in water and oil, stepped on it and other than some nicks in the anodizing it still looks pretty good. Never had a single problem ever. It has everything I want and nothing I don't.

There are a few cons:
1. It's slightly thick and heavy for a penlight but still reasonable. This is perhaps the only area where the Steamlight Stylus pro has an edge over the Pelican. In ALL other aspects the Pelican excels, tint, brihtness, durability, quality, etc.

2. Runtime, this is common to 2xAAA lights in general. I can't help wondering what this light would be like in 2xAA format. If they could keep it within reason size and weight, this would make a nice 2xAA light as well. Recharables are getting better so it's not really an issue but a couple of AAs would be brighter and have longer runtimes.

This is a complete no-brainer - get the FourSevens Preon "Penlight". I personally guarantee you will be 100% satisfied, and if not satisfied, I will buy the light from you! :thumbsup: Yes, I am 100% serious................. I see the light on Amazon for $50, with free shipping.

One final note: if you must have a momentary on switch, the get the 'standard' Preon 2 instead of the "Penlight" (the "Penlight" has a reverse clicky). Good luck!
