hello all,

aside from the included lamp assembly, is there any difference amongst the KT conversion heads?
in particular, can you use a N2 LA in a KT1 conversion head w/ a 6P+A19 set up?
i would love to see a photo if there is such a thing.

thanks,

joe

I have a 6P + A19 running a P90 with 2x 150s.. Also have a D3 with P90 running off another pair of 150s. Don't have a P91, but you should be able to run it off of a pair of 150s.

Yup, the KT1 and KT2 are mechanically compatible with the N1, N2, MN15, MN16, MN60, MN61 lamps and in theory, the MN20/21 if you could find a suitable power pack to drive it.

I run my KT1 with a MN15. Nice /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

PS: Oh, yeah. Here's my photo...

NO, it is totally NOT color-coordinated... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

that is the set-up i had in mind!
with the MN15 having a few more lumens over the N2, how do their beam shape differ, if any?
how about runtime?
i assume the MN15 can run w/ a pair of 150S too.

My personal preference for three-SF123A TurboHead models (M3T for example) is the N2 lamp or the MN16 Lamp.

The MN15 beam is larger and brighter for longer compared to the N2 beam in my experience, but, the N2 beam is round whereas the MN15 beam is oval (which accounts for the extra light collected and focused from the different shaped filament).

The MN16 has a very pleasing beam. I use it more often (although I get through more batteries I am happier for it).

thanks al.
the all black set-up looks really good.
it is also good to know that there are 3 LA's to choose from.

could you tell me the total length of the KT1+6P+A19+Z?? is?
