Question about L4 - custom job?

i was wondering if anyone thought of maybe creating some sort of adaptor for the tailcap that will allow it to be plugged into a cigarette lighter or AC plug.

Kind of like the pressure switch on the bigger lights, but instead of the pressure switch connecting it to a 12ft line and a cig adaptor/AC?

That would work with the E1e w/KL4 +1 123 dummy too. Add a magnet mount and voilia, a tiny 65lm worklight for under the hood?

If you deliver 12 volt to the L4s circuit it will blow the led and circuit!

you can use lights with step down converters on car DC,
but the KL4 is step up.

and if you have the car DC you don´t want only one little

Look on McGizmo's personal site, he made something crazy like that for a PM6, I think.

Didn't think of that! I guess with 12 volts, you can power up 2 KL4s. Kind of like a double barrel shotgun.......but with KL4s /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

My thinking was that since I EDC an L4 or L2, I could have the adaptor in the glove box when I need it. Say for a flat tire, I could just swap tailcaps and plug it into the DC (Step down?). Guess there would be little demand for something like that.
