Question about my M4 ...oval beam

Juat bought an M4 and the beam is quite oval, to the point that I really notice it and it annoys me. It looks oval with the 225 lumen lamp and the 350 lumen lamp. Is this a characteristic of the M4 or does mine have a problem?

Mossyoak you are very generous. I need to add that the ovalness I'm noticing is not when I shine it against a wall, it is when it is outside and actually being used.

My M6's beam is oval with Lola and Hola

it only bothers me when I chasing down walls /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I do wonder if I should be calling surefire CS

Due to some filament design some LA's have an ovalshaped hotspot and beam. That's normal.

Yes, even the P90/91 are oval shaped too, due to the filament shape.

The M3T with the N2 lamp is nice and round /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hahaha.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinser2.gif

The SRTH with the N2 is round too /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
