I know that the solarforce L2 is a surefire 6p clone. Will it be able to use a surefire parts like tailcap or bezel? What is the deal with the surefire series like p,c,m?? Which ones are compatible?

It should since you can put the Solarforce's tailcaps on the SF, dont know about the bezel's though. Solarforce has there own line of bezel's and tailcaps.......pretty good lights for the monies as well.

The Solarforce L2 is Surefire C/P compatible on everything except the bezel/lens ring. For some reason, Solarforce didn't make that part the same. The other higher quality Surefire clone companies of Xeno and Fire-Kylin have made the threads compatible for their models with Surefire Bezels, Heads, bodies and tailcaps. But yeah, I do think the Solarforce L2 is the best Surefire 6P clone on the market and for sure it's a great value considering what it sells for.

Solarforce L2 would be "C" compatible.
When using a Solarforce L2 head on a C/P body (i.e. 6P) you need to use the large outer spring with the drop-in for proper contact to be made.

Then the problem is that the head won't screw all the way on, so you have a gap between the head and the body.

I've got 2 Surefire C2s with Solarforce Heads on them and I had to remove the large outer spring for my dropins to fit in without a gap and they both work fine. The same situation is with 2 of my Surefire 6Ps with Solarforce Heads and Malkoff M60s where I didn't need a spring either. So I think this goes to show how experiences can vary among us Surefire C/P format "lego" users.

Interesting....

All of my drop-ins are loose and rattle around when using an L2 head on a 6P or G2 body.

I have to either use the large outer spring or unscrew the reflector several turn to get proper contact, but then I either have a big gap or a really nasty beam.

Sorry, I meant "C2" and not "G2", so I corrected my previous post. All in all, I do love the interchangeability of this format. I'm surprised that more of the other Chinese flashlight companies who make flashlights that use P60LED dropins don't make their flashlights compatible...like when Ultrafire made their Surefire 6P clone, it's not at all thread compatible with Surefire C/P format, but yet their Surefire C2 clone, the Ultrafire C1 is thread compatible.
