I see that the SST50 model goes from low to high and has a memory. What about the tri-edc? I can't find any info about this one. Does the tri come on in high first, with no memory?

thanks

From what I've read the Tri EDC doesn't have memory.

My aluminum Tri-EDC UI has high-med-low, without memory. Not the best configuration for such a high-powered light IMO. Certainly disqualifies the light for nightstand duty!!!

Oh well. I wanted the copper one, but went for the SST50 for the memory and UI.

In my case, my preferred EDC use for the Tri-EDC is for it to come on high when I click it. Of course, other users may prefer memory so as to enable low, medium, etc. As always, YMMV. The fact that my Tri-EDC does not have memory is not an issue for me.
