Would it be ok to pot a Madmax wide open in just your standard clear devcon epoxy?

Yes.

If you refer to the datasheet for Devcon 2 Ton epoxy, it also states that one of it's intened uses are for potting electronic components & assemblies, has good impact resistance, & cures without shrinking.

Thanks DZ! I thought that would be the answer but I did not want to ruin a nice MM+ and then be PO'ed. :)
