This is a really short review as I need to head out the door in 5 min. I just got this in the mail 30 min. ago and all I can say is wow! what a great little light. I have been EDCing a Fenix P1D-ce for the past several months and this is definatley a step up. I like the use of the clicky even though it is a reverse clicky. And the size is perfect for EDC. I felt as if the Fenix P1 was too small...especially with a twisty head. I can already tell that this light is going to be a thrower. Just looking down at the led you can see how much deeper the reflector is than the usual lights. So far I like the way it works and switches modes. A word of advice.... Make sure the tailcap portion of the light is tightened down all the way. I was trying to switch brightness levels by twisting the head but I was twisting the tailcap causing it to go into strobe and sos. After a good tightening it is no longer a problem. Oh well. Gotta run. I will put some beamshots of this Olight and my old P1D-ce up in a few days.

I got mine in the mail today also. All I can say is WOW. One heck of a light for the size. I am comparing it against my living room wall with my Surefire L6 and this little guy is equal to it. One great thing too, I discovered that the pocket clip from a RayoVac AA snaps right on the Olight. That was the only drawback to the whole package was no pocket clip. Now it will never leave my possession. The clip snaps on like it was made for it. Perfect. I am more pleased with this light than any light I have ever bought. Awesome.

Ok. I'm at my destination. I was manipulating the T10 all the way over here in the car, so it was mostly one hand operation. I think that something must be done to the head of the light to get a better grip on it. I am thinking some quality heat shrink tubing with maybe some short lengths of paper clip underneath. I did it on my Fenix light and it worked great. Since I used a little rubber cement underneath before I shrunk it...it stayed intact very well. The trick is not to shrink the tubing completley. Just shrink it enough that when you slide little rods of paper clip between the tubing and aluminum...the paper clips will not move around. THEN you can shrink the tubing down all the way.

Other than that. I think that it is most comfortable to click the light on with my pointer finger vs. my thumb. Mainly because I have really large hands. But then again, my girlfriend who has hands the size of my palm says that it is also more comfortable to click it on with her pointer finger vs the thumb.

The clicky switch seems to be of high quality. It takes more force than I prefer just to click it on, but I will get used to that.

The beam is great. Very tight spot with substantial spill. There definatley is a donut in the spot, but I have never cared about this even 10 years ago with the maglites.

As far as the threads go. They appear to need a cleaning. Small shavings of aluminum are inside the threads. I know this becuase I took some shavings in between two fingernails and it was abrasive.

I do like how the lanyard attatches. There are two holes side by side on the tailcap. It allows the lanyard to attatch without making a "bumb" on the rim of the tailcap for tailstanding.

I am pretty sure this light will be my EDC for a long time. If a Nitecore Defender is ever made with a cr123 tube, then I will snag one of those up.

Beamshots to come in the next 3-4 days.
