There is no way to judge laser power by a picture!

I can make a 1mW HeNe look like a megawatt ruby!

I have a 2.5W 532 that is quite impressive. I was using the beam to light fireworks on Independence Day. After a few mortars, the smoke made the beam look like a solid physical object that would cut a house in half! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Cheers!

Shark > i know that but I made theses the more realists possible..

Led > normally it is about 30 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

ANd i have a question : on my green Led box, it is written " blinking green led" it is correct for measuring the output power of my laser?? (and I dont know if it is 3mm or 5mm)

To put it shortly, no.
There is a small IC effectively in series with the LED itself, and the lamp would NOT work as a laser measuring device.
