Just wondering why you need 9volts to get 300 lumens?

Probably because it isn't fully regulated ?

You also should be aware that Solarforce exaggerate their outputs so you won't be getting anything like 300 Lumens anyway.

I already have the R2 drop-in and tested it at 4.5v and 6v, amazing difference in brightest at 6v.

Would i see a big difference at 9v over 6v and would it be safe?
