After a few weeks of discussion, Henry came through!

I have a hard deadline of today to get the IR illuminator and it showed up.

I hear this will become an order option in the future.

Executive interface, IR led, titanium bezel, glass window, raised switch.

850nm IR led has a pretty low Vf; under 2 volts for the GD version which this is. Took some serious reprogramming but looks like they have it perfected.

To get a beamshot just use a camera phone, never seen one with an ir filter on it. Should work well.

Ya, the beam is visible with a phone's camera, but just barely. It's purple.

It's much more visible with an AN/PVS-14 monocular.

This RA Clicky will illuminate targets over a mile away.

Just the sidespill on this light will illuminate the entire field of view of the monocular.

I'll see if I can get you some beamshots through the monocular. There has been a full moon lately; with so much light the night vision will desense or autogate down and the light isn't as impressive. It's the same effect as using your best thrower during daytime. Not so impressive anymore.
