Rambus adjustable color temperature

I don't remember anyone mentioning this, but Rambus has come out with a series of PAR and BR designs that allow the user to manually adjust the color temperature from 5000k to 3000k (and anywhere in between). In essence, by moving a lever, a remote phosphor slides over the 5000k LEDs, and this lowers the color temperature.

they also have a pretty nifty looking A19 bulb, but the color temperature does not look adjustable.

No one found this interesting? I found it pretty cool, and the moveable phosphor seemed pretty ingenuous.

I posted a question on Amazon, and apparently that is the non-adjustable version. Too bad, I prefer something whiter than 2700k and warmer than 5000k (the two most favorite of manufacturers). I would be cool to be able to buy one bulb and have the color temperature tweaked for different rooms.

Anyone know the reference patent(s) for this product? I couldn't find a patent number on the website.
