Is it just me or does anyone else love the voltage checker in the LF2XT?


Are there any other lights out there with this function? Perhaps there should be!

Armytek Predator has a voltage checker, I've used it once or twice.

Yes the system available in LF2XT is really useful but maybe some other manufacturer could devise an easier access to it.

Ahorton's custom headlamp V2 has it on one of the sub-menus.

I'm not sure how valid those measurements are. There was a thread over at the marketplace that had varying results. The voltage seemed to vary depending on what output setting the light was in. This could be wrong but from my understanding.... this indicated that the voltage checker was testing when the cell was under load, which is a poor measurement for determining the remaining capacity of the battery (it should be done with no load, like how many of us check our cells with a DMM).
