I thought that someone would have commented on this by now.
The Rebel SE looks like a bit of an impovement in a few areas especially WRT nuetral white. It puts out 100 Lumens per watt minimum, so with a 3v typical drive at 350mA, it will deliver 105 lumens, which is good for a nuetral white. Also, the device will handle 1000mA, with a multiplier of 2.25 on the light output WRT the 350mA figure. Lastly, it's termperature performance looks good - with a case temp of 100 degrees C (so the die will be hotter) the LED is only 15% down on output.
Not a quantum leap, but maybe a sign that Lumileds are starting to roll better stuff out. Still no Lumiramic fitted as far as I can tell.

Hi HumanLumen - One curious spec I spied reviewing the ES info pages at Future Elec. was that they call out the CRI of both the cool white and neutral white as 70. The non-ES Rebel neutral white is 75 CRI. This is meaningful for my photography lights. I took receipt of 10 100-lumen non-ES Rebels lately, they were a MPN bin, just a bit cooler than other 80 lumen parts that I have used in the past. But plenty bright! I suppose the price of the ES parts might be lower, but I have not seen any pricing yet. Cheers, Jeff
